The RockStack Method, in a private engagement.
An honest Assessment, ninety-day Rocks, and a high standard of work. You work directly with your value coach, and your coach works with your leadership team at your discretion.
For the owner who wants direct, confidential counsel.
Some owners want their coach working hands-on with their leadership team. Some want the work kept private, even from their own team, until they’re ready to share it.
A private engagement meets that expectation. It fits owners of $5 million to $100 million companies who know the business still runs through them and are ready to change that.
Scoped in a proposal. Built around you.
Every private engagement is scoped in a written proposal, built from two things: the RockStack Assessment, and conversations about your intentions for the business and your timeline. A typical proposal includes:
- A timeline for closing your biggest gaps, on your schedule and within your resources
- The first two to four quarters of RockStacks, sized to the team you have and the day jobs they already carry
- One accountable owner and clear milestones for every Rock
- Monthly milestone sessions with your leadership team
- Mid-month coaching for you, and for key executives at your discretion
- A scorecard your team keeps current, ideally weekly, and an annual re-assessment to prove progress
Close enough to matter. Private enough to trust.
In the room.
We meet in your monthly milestone sessions or alongside them. I coach you, and your key executives if you choose. We track progress together and clear what’s in the way. As opportunities and blockers come up, we adjust the plan to stay on track.
Building leaders.
It starts with you: how clearly you share your vision, and how much you’re willing to let go. Then we look at where your leaders are today and where you need them to be: fit with your culture, fit with their role, and readiness for what comes next. We build the bench to close that gap.
Proof, not promises.
Milestones and your scorecard confirm each Rock is moving. Once a year, the Assessment is re-run against the same baseline you started with. You see where the business got stronger, where it still depends on you, and where to focus next.
When the heavy lifting is done.
Many owners start in a private engagement and move to a Value Builder Group once the heavy lifting is done. They keep building, now alongside other owners doing the same work. Your private engagement becomes group membership, with the same coach.
Questions about a private engagement
How long does a private engagement last?
It’s scoped in your proposal. Most begin with two to four quarters of RockStacks, then continue quarter by quarter as long as the work is paying off.
How often do we meet?
Monthly, in or alongside your milestone sessions with your leadership team, plus mid-month coaching for you.
Does my team need to know?
Not unless you want them to. Some owners start privately and bring their team in when they’re ready. The pace is yours.
Can I move to a Value Builder Group later?
Yes. Your private engagement becomes group membership, with the same coach.
