This Privacy Policy explains how RockStack Advisors (“RockStack,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit rockstackadvisors.com (the “Site”).
Information we collect
Information you give us.
- The RockStack Readiness Check. Your answers to the twelve questions and the scores they produce. If you choose to have your results emailed, your first name, email address, and, optionally, your company name.
- The RockStack Partner Network application. Your name, contact information, firm, specialty, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Booking a conversation. When you schedule time with us, the information you enter into our scheduling tool, such as your name, email, and phone number.
- Email and other messages you send us directly.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its service providers collect technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. The Site does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, or social media tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To show you your Readiness Check results, and to email them if you ask
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations
- To review Partner Network applications and follow up with applicants
- To send occasional insights, only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
- To protect the Site and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share it
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our practice, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Website hosting and email marketing: Hostinger, including Hostinger Reach for emails you opt in to receive
- Fonts: Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces the Site uses. Your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google
- Scheduling: Calendly
- Forms: WPForms, which stores submissions on our website
- Search optimization: Rank Math, which operates on our website
Each provider has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Your choices
- Readiness Check: you can see your results without giving us any contact information.
- Email: results emails are sent only when you ask. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every one includes an unsubscribe link.
- Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
- Access and deletion: you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at the address below.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. We keep Readiness Check submissions for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business owners and professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
