Rick Morgenweck, CEPA, MBA
Rick Morgenweck founded RockStack Advisors to give owners something the market rarely offers: preparation for a sale by someone who has judged businesses from the buyer’s side of the table.
Before advising owners, Rick evaluated acquisition targets inside corporate development teams and held equity through a private equity recapitalization. He saw firsthand how buyers price risk, where deals lose value in diligence, and why the businesses that command a premium are the ones that have been deliberately prepared years in advance.
Why RockStack
Most owners meet a broker only when they are ready to sell, by which point the price is largely set. RockStack exists to work the years before that, when value can still be built and risk can still be removed.
Rick also serves as a Vistage Chair, leading a peer advisory group of business leaders. That work keeps him close to the day to day decisions owners face, and informs how RockStack advises through a transition.
